Very comfortable! I often have back problems and find standard airbeds very unsupportive. We bought this for camping and both of us slept well on it. It stayed at the same pressure for the 3 nights we camped, it didn't need any more inflating. Something to bear in mind. This is a great option for making the infamous camper van rock and roll bed comfortable enough to sleep on! Easy system of inflation and deflation, though, as indicated by others, initial deflation requires some determination. It does pack down well into a more than generous bag.
