Home Sweet Campers have a beautiful gem of a workshop you can drive right into, clean, creative and professional. When I arrived for a few updates on a van that was already converted, I was immediately comfortable having a chat with Gareth about what my van needed and also nosing at the beautiful conversion he was working on. Every detail was real artisan craftsmanship - a natural designer and carpenter but with a great understanding of what van's need, Gareth is practical and with a can do attitude, making things work rather than complaining about (other peoples') mistakes or lesser quality materials. £1000 heater's are desirable, but if you want a wood burner or have a cheaper diesel heater like me, so be it! Gareth was willing to fit in work on my van around his bigger design and builds, which was very helpful on a short timescale, and not something many people would be willing to do under these circumstances. He was also generous with his network, recommending specialists in the same complex as him, or who are based nearby who he shared information with and enabled some serious updates on my van's electrics, enabling my own understanding to grow as well as useful contacts for future work. Fair pricing good communication and a genuine care for the work that Home Sweet Campers do, which might be a vocation as well as a profession. Thanks both!
